Happy Saturday

Happy Saturday to you all
Yesterday was a complete wash out it rained so hard for hours the only way we could have left home to go anywhere was by boat but as we do not own one Crafting won the day
I so wanted to use my Magic Dwelling Stamp again so that was my main part its a beauty of a stamp I adore it
I also used a smaller toadstool to sit alongside it from Autumn Harvest stamp collection and then finished of with the little Love stamp from Tall & Elegant stamp set
I totally love these sets - how they can work as a set or to mix and match
The papers I used are from the paper pad Fourni another favourite of mine.
I coloured up using Graph'It Markers, also using lots of fine glitter on the whites of the toadstools.

I finished off cutting out some clouds using the Fluffy Clouds die set

Thank you for looking

Postcard

Happy Snowy Sunday, where has spring disappeared to??
For those that know me know I am a great lover of oxides, this was a little experiment.
A good friend of mine visited last week and she brought some of her lovely cards for me to see, On some she had used the normal distress inks on photo card.......Now this got my head whirling would Distress Oxides work? Out came my photo paper and the first inks that came out of  my box - now I normally would sit awhile to decide my colours but as this was an experiment I just went for it. Amazing results I loved it , but I took it one step further and on half removed the oxides
I hope you can see the difference on B where oxides were removed.....
I left it to one side but then decided I needed to decorate it - It was the perfect size for a postcard, So using various Stamps, Black Micron Pen, A few Sequins and some Sequin waste my postcard was made

I totally loved what came of an idea that may or may not have worked

I can see this becoming a regular make

Thank you so much for looking today

Fairy Magic

Happy Saturday
So much snow again in the UK oh dear does that really mean I have to keep warm and cosy in my craft room? Such a shame (she lies)
I have been trying a few new ideas these last couple of days some have been automatically binned but there are a couple I quite like and have stored for future use
I saw this new image the other day from Digi Stamp Boutique
Normally I use stamps with my Distress Oxide inks, more for ease really but I loved this digi so much , I really wanted to make it work
I used very pastel Distress Oxides I am going to make another but go really bright
I removed some of the oxides with splatters of water , her wings were painted with sparkly watercolour paints
I also love the border that came with the Fairy, how lovely is that (hurry to the store its on offer at the moment)
The sentiment used is from another  set from Digi Stamp Boutique Black Floral (sorry there is no link but I can not see it for looking I'm wondering if its a retired set)
